Shipping
We ship USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Arrangements can be made if a more expedient shipment is needed. Because we make each item per order, shipments will leave our studio anywhere from 2 to 5 business days. On rare occassions an item can take up to 10 business days before leaving our studio because of the complexity in making the piece. If this is the case, an email will be sent. Our Policy
We have an exchange only policy. A request for exchange must be made by email within 10 days of receiving your purchase. We will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Lolabean is not responsible for exchange shipping costs.
Quality
Our jewelry is designed and handmade by the designer in New York City. We use the highest quality 14kt gold-filled which is 14/20. All plating is 18kt gold over brass. We use a plater in New York City to insure no harmful metals are used in the process. All silver plating is rhodium.
Repairs
We repair all Lolabean handmade jewelry. An initial $10 repair charge will be applied plus return shipping costs. If your Lolabean jewelry is in need of repair, please email for a Return Authorization Number (RA#). After we receive your item, we will assess the piece and let you know of any additional charges needed for repair. Lolabean is not responsible for any shipping costs. We only repair jewelry purchased directly through Lolabean. If bought through another retailer, please return to the place of purchase.
If you have a 14kt gold-filled piece or a gold or silver plated piece that has faded and you would like the chains or charm replaced, we can quote a price in refurbishing the piece of jewelry for you. We only insure the longevity of our pure 14kt gold and 18kt gold pieces.
Care
To extend the life of the 14kt gold-filled piece, store away from air and keep dry. The chains used in our jewelry are very delicate so tangling can occur easily. We ship all our pieces with clasps hanging out of a plastic baggie to keep from tangling. Either store hanging in an enclosed jewelry box away from dust and air or store in the packaging we send you with clasp hanging out of baggie. Multiple chained pieces have a tendency to tangle more so this process is even more crucial in storing a multi-chained piece. If your jewelry has tangled beyond reason, we can untangle the piece for an additional charge plus shipping costs. Please email for a Return Authorization Number.
